Obituary of Karen Sue Parks

Karen Sue Parks, (née Schnell) age 73, of West Deptford, formerly Paulsboro, NJ was reunited with her husband on August 31, 2018.

Legacy

Karen was a lifelong South Jersey resident who married her high school sweetheart, Ernest who enjoyed over 48 years together and grew a family legacy. She will be always remembered as a fun loving lady who enjoyed the best glasses of wine and her travels often took her to the local casinos to test her luck. She and Ernie also loved to travel the globe, cruising throughout Europe, Alaska and her favorite, the Caribbean. She was an avid sports fan and proudly cheered on her man, Eli and the NY Giants. Karen’s heart and love was in all she did, especially supporting her children and grandchildren through school, cheering on their games, and always with a warm hug; Karen is also survived by her beloved cat, Abby.

Beloved wife of 48 years to the late Ernest W. Sr.; Devoted mother of Richard W. (Nichole), Ernest W. Jr. (Misty), and Robert W. (Danielle); Cherished grandmother of Gabryelle, Jessica, Robert "Joey", Nick, Sam, Anna and Kylie; Adored daughter of the late Edith L. (née Pratt) and Joseph S. Schnell; Dear sister to Patricia Hemple and her ‘Partner in Crime’ Patti Gaimari; Treasured aunt to Tracey Jones (Chris) and Dale Hemple Jr.
