Obituary of Sophie A. Spence-Sannutti

Sophie A. Spence-Sannutti, (née D’Emilio) age 85, of Mantua, NJ was reunited with her loved ones on September 9, 2018.

Legacy

Sophie was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a longtime employee of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and Elk Township PD. She was an avid seamstress and a member of a Sewing Club, and was a fabulous cook who fed everybody! Sophie was a devoted parishioner of the Church of the Nazarene of Pitman. Her loving spirit touched many lives and will be missed by many more, especially her dog, JoJo.

Family

Beloved wife to the late George Spence and Joseph Sannutti; Devoted mother of Bernard Spence (Terri), George Spence (Penny), Francis Spence (Daniele), Cecelia Osmola (Ted), Richard Spence (Karen), Patricia Spence (Greg) and step mother to Joseph, Betsy, Michaelina, Pennie, and Valerie; Survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; Adored daughter of the late Fausta (née Trotta) and Israel D’Emilio; Dear sister to Elvera ‘Vera’ Christiano, Gloria Romaine and the late Philomena ‘Mae’ Cerrito and Domenic D’Emilio.
