I am so sorry on the loss of your dear Elena. What an incredibly busy and fulfilling life she led, although gone way too soon. Let there be no doubt that she will be missed by so many. The Bible tells us at Psalms 34: 17 & 18 that Jehovah hears us when we cry out to him, and he wants to comfort those who mourn. Please reach out to him, and rejoice in the many happy memories that you have of Ms. McAllister. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Oh, Glenn, Mary, Jim - all of you in Elena's family- how I pray comfort for all of you. I hate that you are having to miss her in what feels like, too soon. We, her Mary Kay family, are stunned and deeply saddened at this sudden loss of our long-time friend and unit member. As her Mary Kay Director, even though I've lived long distance from her, her nearly 20 years in her Mary Kay business, we were always in frequent touch. My email Inbox, Facebook private Messages, cellphone texts and paper mail files are full of our conversations, right up to a few days ago. I keep going back to read through them, because it feels like she is still here. My goodness, I ache that we have lost her. She has always been so enthusiastically involved in so many interests. She's been incredibly supportive, with very touching team spirit, for our Over-Achievers Unit. She's always been so loving, caring, helpful generous. She and her team faithfully remembered my birthday and every Christmas. So many things I look at remind me of her. Already missing that sassy, teasing smile of hers that I'm holding dear to my heart. Below is what I wrote to our unit about her achievements in the business:
"Our dear Elena, who has been consistently involved and very active in our unit since she joined in March of 1999, nearly 20 years, passed away two days after we'd enjoyed a unit breakfast visit together. She had one of the strongest teams in our unit for most of those years, consisting notably of Connie Marro and Dina Windle. Until her emergency heart surgery a year ago, she consistently ranked in the Top 5 of our unit's Seminar Reported Retail winners. She'd attended Seminar in Dallas with me before and many Career Conferences locally. She had just sent me her August retail business reports and had recently received her "Shopping Spree" prizes for her total points accumulated the past year. At our breakfast, I got to present her with more "Bucks" points. She had lots of plans for when she recovered, which we all assumed she wold. None of us can comprehend that she is gone. Such a brave, spunky, lady. Such a big (if fragile) heart. She always called me "Mom", even though I am younger than her, because I could always help her out, and we loved each other. We are so sad now. Already missing her terribly." Sending our love.

Dear Elena's family,
My Condolences to all that were in her life. I am her massage therapist and loved her very much. She talked dearly of all of you. Also about trips to Vermont. I will always remember her saying before her massage "I have to use the little boys room." I laughed every time. She will be so missed. May your memories of Elena heal you. Janeen
