Obituary of Frederick G. Seikot

Frederick Gottleib Seikot, age 78, of Philadelphia, PA, died on October 10, 2018.

Legacy

Fred was born and raised in Philadelphia where he dedicated several years to a bakery and later became a skilled carpenter, handcrafting many finishing and intricate projects. He enjoyed being beside the water, boating, and spending time in Florida. A loving father, grandfather, husband and friend will be dearly missed by so many hearts.

Beloved husband to Helena (née Golec) and the late Barbara (née Rorer); Devoted father of Jean Vento (James) and Lori Trotter (James); Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Dana, Katie, and Marty; Precious great grandfather of Emerson; Adored son of the late Mildred (née Trumplett) and Frederick Seikot; Dear brother to Katherine Pakyz (John) and the late Mildred Wallace (the late Alvin); Treasured uncle to many.

Farewell Ceremony

A Funeral Ceremony will take place promptly on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Evangelical Church, 3101 Tyson Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19149; Luncheon will follow.
