Obituary of Robert Russell Smith

Robert Russell Smith, 80 of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. 
 
Legacy
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he graduated from Milton Hershey High School Class of 1956.  He was a proud member of the United States Army.  Robert retired as a Electrician.  He was a caring, loving and generous husband, father, grandfather whom always put family first.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, flea markets and sports.

Family
He is the beloved husband of over 55 years to Janet Alice Smith (nee Brooks). Devoted father of Tracy Heneks, Alicia Nevin (Ray), and Sharon Carrotenuto (Tony).  Treasured grandfather Matthew Heneks, Amanda Heneks, Robert Boyd, Andrew Boyd, and Katelyn Boyd. Son of the late Anna and Andrew Smith.  Dear Brother of Anna May Valentine (late Charles), Kathryn Jennings (late Anthony), Andrew Smith (late Freda), David Smith (late Patricia), late George Smith (Diane), and  late John Smith ( late Gertrude).  He will be missed by many friends and family.

Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, November 17th from 1:00PM to 2:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street. Funeral Service at 2:00PM.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #133, Washington Ave., Woodbury, NJ 08096- www.legion.org or Veterans Helping Veterans 211 County House Road, Sewell, NJ 08080
