Obituary of Rita M. McNesby

Rita M. McNesby (nee Johnson), 86, of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. 

Legacy

Rita enjoyed painting water colors, arts and crafts, gardening, and going to yard sales. She also enjoyed traveling, going to the shore, and reading. Rita was very social and loved talking to people, whether she knew them or not. She was very independent and worked many different jobs. Rita enjoyed playing the slots at Harrah’s with her husband Joe. She was very adventurous and would try anything; from skiing to taking a ride on a hot air balloon.

Family

She is the Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Joseph V.; loving mother of Barbara (Glenn) Allison, Judea McAnesby-Brar (Surinder), Kathleen McNesby, and the late Charles McNesby; grandmother of Jaipal Brar, and Crystal McNesby; great grandmother of Joseph McNesby. She also leaves behind friends and cousins.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 10 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - 34 Hunter St., Woodbury,  NJ 08096. A funeral ceremony will follow at 11 AM. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park in West Deptford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater New Jersey Chapter- 23 Vreeland Rd Suite 105, Florham Park, NJ 07932.
