To Frank and all the Denihans: Frank and I are very sorry to learn about Fran's death. Her wonderful smile and warmth will always be a part of our memories of so many family gatherings. Frank's memories, of course, go back farther than mine including when he and Fran were in a play together at Hallihan when they were "Yon Teenagers." This is the kind of time when being so far away is so difficult--we can no longer travel even to see our kids. They now come to see us. Our daughter, Ellen Ryan, who lives in Maryland, is going to try to attend the funeral and deliver the hugs which say so much more than words. All our love, Peggy

Loved Franny from the time Frank introduced her to us. We spent many happy times together with our families, when Frank got drafted shortly after their marriage, she was at our apartment frequently, then she was able to go be with him in Albuquerque, NM. When they returned and they started a family we got together often, they were my youngest child’s godparents and Jack and I were godparents for their youngest.Several years ago we met up coincidentally in Cape May and my husband and I hung with them all of that weekend. We never missed a beat, it was like old times for me and like we had not had all of the years that had passed. We had a ball, lots of fun, love and laughs. Jim thought they were great. I always loved my “Francis and Frances” incorporated, as I referred to them so long ago. Love their children, Diane, Kevin and Susan, my heart is broken for all of you and your children. May God bless all of you and give you strength. Diane, thank you so much for sharing your information and feelings with me. You have been through a lot, hope you continue to keep in touch with me. My beautiful Franny, May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hands, sorry for your suffering. I love you and Frank and am sorry I will not be there but I will be there in spirit.
