Obituary of Dolores M. Brown

Dolores M. Brown, (nee LeCates) age 86, of Forked River, New Jersey, formerly West Deptford, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019.  

Legacy

A kind and compassionate woman, Dolores dedicated her life to her family and friends.  She loved her church, Verga United Methodist Church, and was strong in her faith.  Dolores always helped others in need and had a very big heart.  She enjoyed playing BINGO and going to the casinos.  A loving soul among us, she will be deeply missed. 

Family

Devoted mother of William (Tricia), Thomas, Jr., and Patricia Heenan (Louis);  loving grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 6;  dear sister of Arthur LeCates and the late Margaret Strom, Lester “Bud”, Howard “Reds”, Dorothy Montana, Mary Palmer, Richard “Dick”, Robert “Bob”;  cherished mother-in-law of the late James T. Heenan.  Dolores leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.    

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dolores’ viewing on Friday, from 10am to 12pm at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ.  Funeral Service to follow at 12pm.  Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford, NJ. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Dolores’ memory to Verga United Methodist Church, PO Box 18, Westville, NJ 08093.
