Obituary of Phyllis A. Furlong

Phyllis A. Furlong, (nee Baldyga) 87, of Washington Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Legacy

A caring, loving and compassionate woman, Phyllis dedicated her life to her family and friends. She had the innate ability to put people at ease, which made it easy for you to like her. She was known to enjoy music, dancing, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends. After the death of her beloved husband Joseph, Phyllis continued to make family the center of her world, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. A kind soul, Phyllis will be remembered for the comfort and support she freely gave to anyone who needed it. Even as her memory began to fade, this quality remained, which endeared her to everyone she met.

Family

Beloved wife of the late Joseph; devoted mother of Brian (Dina) and Kevin (Traci); loving grandmother of Colin, Joshua and Elana; dear sister of Ronald (Priscilla); and many nieces and nephews.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Phyllis’ viewing on Friday from 9AM to 11:00AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ.  Funeral Service to follow at 11AM.  Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Sewell, NJ.
