Obituary of Theresa M. Mileski

Theresa M. Mileski (nee Murphy), 75, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

 Legacy

A loving and nurturing lady, Theresa was devoted to her family.  She was all about gathering everyone together...especially Christmas night and summer Bar B Ques.  She was famous for things like her Christmas punch.  Theresa taught herself to crochet and many of her family members have blankets or scarves to wrap themselves in to remember Theresa by.  With a funny disposition, Theresa had the laugh to match and she was famous for it and family and friends are still trying to duplicate. She enjoyed traveling to such places as Alaska, the Mediteranean and British Isles.  Her travels brought her to places like Ireland, California, and Disney World with various family members.  Most recently she enjoyed road trips that took her to every state on the East Coast.  Theresa was a huge Harry Potter Fan and has seen the play, visited Harry Potter Land at Universal Studios and of course, took a Harry Potter tour London. Besides Theresa's devotion to her family, she had a deep faith and would often pray a nine hour Novena for anyone in need.  She was known to many as "Mother Theresa."

Born in Drexel Hill, PA, Theresa was raised in Sharon Hill and was a graduate of Sharon Hill High School. Theresa moved to New Jersey when she was 20 years old.  She married the boy next door and became a longtime resident of Turnersville, before moving to Cherry Hill six years ago to be with her daughter.  Before getting sick, Theresa was a Magazine Vendor for over 12 years.

Family

Beloved wife of the late Leo W. Mileski, Jr; devoted Mother of Tracie L. Mileski; loving sister of Anne (Ron) Bird, Raymond (Lois) Murphy, Nora Murphy, Judy Murphy , Bette Anne (David) Foster and the late Francis J. (Donna) Murphy.  Theresa is survived by sister in law, Joan (Dave) Jack many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and her grand fur babies, Cinderella, Tink "Ugly Dog" and the late Belle.

 Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Theresa's viewing THIS EVENING, 1/15/2019, 6:30 - 9:00 PM and Wednesday, 1/16/2019, 8:30 - 9:30 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, 10:30 AM at St. Peter and Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Sewell, NJ.  Interment at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
