Obituary of Mary H. Entrekin

Mary H. Entrekin (nee Henzel), 94, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.  

Mary was born in the Northeast Section of Philadelphia (Olney Ave. area). She lived a wonderful life, full of love, a great family, music & dance. Mary was one of four children, sister Rae preceded her in death, two surviving brothers Frank of PA and John of VT. In her early years, Mary was a ballerina/dancer; she loved singing and preforming.
She loved her church St. Luke & The Epiphany in Philadelphia, PA, her church family & most importantly, the Lord. Mary was also a longtime member of The Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile & Amaranth. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband & family. Some of her favorite places to visit were England & Scotland. She also loved visiting many states in the USA & her last big trip was to Thailand.
Mary was a wonderful wife, mother & sister and friend to everyone she touched. We are all very grateful to the staff at Cardinal Village, Grace Hospice Staff & a wonderful team of Bayada Health Services that always were there to help when needed. They are all truly a blessing.

Mary is currently survived by her husband Charles of 62 years, daughter Carol, son Edward and his wife Suzzie and longtime family friend of 42 years, Debbie Stiles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 1:30 - 3:30 pm at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Sewell, NJ where a Funeral Ceremony will take place at 3:30 pm. Inurnment will take place Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in her name to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Eastern Star of New Jersey, The Alzheimer's Foundation & Grace Hospice.
