If there is one thing I will always remember about Jake it will be his smile. When Heights had its own zoning board and my dad was apart of that I met Jake. I was young but I remember he had such a love for children...the smiles he had just seeing me or any other child walk near him was contagious. He was an amazing man that I had the privilege of knowing for all my life. Woodbury Heights will certainly miss him. I hope & pray his family finds peace during this rough time.

I’ve known Mr. Jacob since I was a little girl and he always was there for my family. He’s a kind and caring man who’ll be sadly missed but never forgotten. Mrs. Jacob and family my deepest condolences for your loss, there’ll never be a nicer man than Mr. Jacob was. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers and take comfort that he’s watching over you all and flying with the Angels because he’s been an Angel his entire life.
Love,
Angela Campana

My condolences to family and friends. Revelation 21:4 talks about a time when death will be done away with for good. We won’t have to worry about the sting of death anymore.

To the entire Jacob family, I extend my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. "Jake" was truly one the the most genuine and caring souls I have ever met and his passing will certainly have an impact on the countless people he has touched throughout his decades of public service to the Woodbury Heights Athletic Association and Borough Council. Jake was a tireless advocate for the rights of Veterans throughout the Borough and County and his infectious smile and warm demeanor will be dearly missed by all. Rest in peace my friend!

Well I must say a wonderful man. He was good to my mother when ever she needed something or questions regarding Woodbury hts. Great man with helping boy scout troop of Woodbury hts troop 225 and helping us earn money with the clean streets program. Always thought of us first. His personality was one of a kind. Loved his smile. I must say he will be missed. To the family I am so so sorry for your loss! Jake will be fondly remembered in my heart. Woodbury Heights lost a great one!!
