Obituary of Jack Trechock

Jack Trechock, 87, of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 with his loving family at his side.

Legacy

A kind, loving and gentle man, Jack was patient and always put others needs before his own.  He was devoted to his family and his faith.  Jack was involved in all aspects of his children’s lives and was their biggest fan.  His favorite times were filled with times spent with family…times like hiking, sledding, fishing in the Ventnor bay and at the cabin in Georgia, and water skiing.  Jack also loved to tend to his vegetable garden, listening to classical music and working on cars.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ, Jack was a resident of Woodbury Heights for 54 years.  He was a 1955 graduate of Drexel University where he earned a degree in Chemical Engineering.  He was a proud United States Navy Veteran serving from 1956 – 1958.  Jack was an active member of First Baptist church of Woodbury where he was deacon, Sunday School teacher and musician.  A talented musician, Jack played the trombone and the baritone horn and was a member of the Bonsal Blue Family since 1996 and a dedicated volunteer to the Hobo Band Summer Youth program.
