My Dearest Ate Belle. Aka "Mama Belle" to Rachel, Tyler and Ethan. The kids will miss shopping with you. We will miss your Adobo, Chicken Wings and Nilaga. Yummy! I love watching you with the kids from the day they were born. I never had to worry much because I know You and Kuya OC are always there for them.
I will never forget when you cook soup when we get sick. I will miss teasing you a lot. Thank you. God speed. Always in our hearts.

Bella is not related to me by blood but she is absolutely related to me by heart through and through! She, together with husband, Ossie, as well as Ruth, Michael, & Lea, unfailingly laid out the red carpet treatment whenever my family & I visited NJ. Bella would whip up delicious dishes, side by side with Lea’s & Ossie’s special crabs.
Bella’s sometimes childlike innocence on mundane matters was refreshing amidst common pretentiousness & skepticism. She was a profile of grace & courage as she bore her illness.
Goodbye, dear Bella. You may have left us but you will continue to live on in our hearts forever.

My heartfelt condolences. Here’s my short poem offering for you. “A flower gone though it may be...It’s sweet scent & memories linger in our hearts... Despair not grieving families...For it’s scent & memories have likewise reached the Kingdom & embrace of our Lord!” God be with you our dear Bella, Farewell...You are now in eternal peace & safe in the arms of our Lord Jesus.

Bella's life was a symbol of quiet and easy grace. She treasured her and her husband Ossie's extended family - Ruth, Michael, Tyler Anne, Ethan, Lea and Trooper. The times she spent with them were always joyful moments.
I remember most how we enjoyed together the food (usually crabs) she prepared with Lea and Ruth whenever we visited my son Michael's family. We ate, talked, joked and watched TV through the night. Those were great family sleepovers.
Bella was a good wife, loving wife and sister-in-law and a gentle friend. She fought a good fight and towards the end, clung to God's love and mercy.
Now, as I remember her, lines from "High Flight" came to my mind:
"Up, up the long, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark or even eagle flew
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God."
Rest in peace, our dear Bella. Our deep sympathy to Ossie and family.
