Obituary of Anthony J. Visalli, Jr.

Anthony J. Visalli, Jr. of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 22, 2019.  He was aged 66 years.
 
Legacy
Anthony will be fondly remembered as an outgoing, mild mannered guy with a great sense of humor who would always be willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He graduated from St. James High School in Carney's Point with the Class of 1971.  Anthony worked for Mobil Oil and retired as a Operator Supervisor after many years of service. Anthony also worked for West Deptford Twp. Board of Education and Riverwinds Community Center.
Away from his work, Anthony enjoyed a vast array of passions and hobbies including decorating his home as well as the homes of friends for Christmas; coaching, serving as director and President of the youth basketball leagues in West Deptford; working on his model train display and trying his hand at the casinos and horse races. Most of all, Anthony enjoyed being Santa Claus for his grandchildren and tending to his vegetable garden which produced "Tony's Long Hots" and South Jersey's most delicious tomatoes. Anthony will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Anthony is the beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Meloni); loving Dad of Brian (Marie) & Brad (Mandy) Burdey; loving Pop Pop of Emma, Andrew, Connor, Braylen, Aubree, & Cameryn Burdey; dear brother of Joseph (Frances) Visalli; cherished uncle of Joseph A. Visalli, Jr. and Cristina Visalli; great uncle of Anthony John & Joseph Daniel Visalli.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anthony's viewing on Friday after 9 AM in the  McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11 AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Anthony Visalli to CHOP Foundation c/o Kayla's Hope for Kids, P.O.
