Daddy - It's been almost a month and it's only gotten harder. My heart breaks when I hear of how others speak of your greatness and unique qualities; How unfair it all seems that you can no longer share your spirit with us here. I'll always love you and I give the boys hugs and kisses from you every night before bed and we make sure to say our prayers. I know you are in His eternal light and love where you deserve to be ; give mommy kisses for me.

I’m deeply saddened by the passing of our comrade and fellow Vietnam Veteran. We talked about the war and I knew his struggles well but still there were good times. I remember once our children were in the Deptford band and had a competition up in the mountains. It was freezing cold and snowing sideways while we sat on the concrete bleachers.
Jim saved us both by finding a bar inside with a view of the field. We just drank until we were not cold anymore. All we did was tell war stories and drink. I don’t even remember how we made it home and I was driving. He was a lot of fun. Rest In Peace my friend, we will meet again in paradise.
For God and Country,
Gerald O’Hare
