Obituary of Sarah M. Civa

Sarah M. Civa, of South Philadelphia, was born on January 17, 1933, and passed peacefully from this world on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at the home she shared with daughter Carolyn and son-in-law Tim, her long time caregivers, by her side.

Sarah was the daughter of Salvatore and Domenica Ucciardello.  She married our dear father Vincent Civa, Jr., who predeceased her in 1993.  She was the beloved mother of daughters Debbie Mroz (Joe), Sharon Civa, and Carolyn Civa-Smith (Tim), devoted grandmother of Vincent Mroz (Candace), and Stephanie Mroz (Andy Mosiondz), and doting great grandmother of Gavin, Hannah, and Madison Mroz.  She was the dear aunt of Carol Ann Corsey (deceased), Joseph Corsey, and Annamarie Loretan (Andrew).  She is also being greeted in Heaven by her brother Angelo Ucciardello and sister Caroline Corsey.

Family and friends are invited to attend our Mom Sarah's visitation on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 6pm in the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Sewell, NJ.  Funeral Mass will follow at 7pm.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McGuinness Funeral Home, Sewell, NJ.
