Obituary of Brian Walsh

Brian L. Walsh, a resident of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019.  He was 45.

Legacy

Brian was born in Camden, New Jersey to Diane Margerum (nee Moll) and Robert Walsh. Growing up, Brian spent a lot of time with his mother and the Hawg Ridin Fools family. Once Brian completed high school, he enlisted into the United States Navy where he proudly served for 8 years as an Ops Specialist.  Brian served our country proudly during Operation Desert Storm, and when he returned home, he began working for Lockheed-Martin.  After Lockheed Martin, Brian began working for Ricoh Digital Workplace Solutions as a web designer. 

Brian, or “Walshy” as he was known by his friends, will be remembered by those who knew him as a spiritual, loving, passionate and considerate man.  He was over-the-top and so full of life, he never wanted the party to end.  Brian took great pleasure in snow-plowing, riding his Harley, and taking his boat out on the river.  Brian also liked to relax with a little Captain Morgan and listening to his favorite bands – The Killers and Blondie.     

Brian loved his children and was a great dad.  He appreciated the time spent with his family and friends.  Brian also enjoyed going on special adventures with his cherished girlfriend, Jenny. One of Brian's favorite quotes was "It's not about the destination, it's about the journey", which he reminded Jenny of often.      

Family

Brian is the treasured son of Diane Margerum and Robert Walsh; Devoted father to Holden Walsh and Dalton Walsh; Dear brother to Robin Walsh-Fusco (John), Stepbrother to Michael Margerum and Allan Margerum; Beloved boyfriend to Jenny Porter. Brian is also survived by his "adopted sister", Michelle Cavallero; lifelong father figure, Ed Who; his ex-wife with whom he still remained close, Angela Solina-Walsh; a special nephew, Little Johnny “Eardrum”,  and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Family and friends are invited to attend Brian's viewing on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 5:00PM unitl 8:00PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, Washington Township, located at 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Sewell, NJ 08080 and on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 9:00AM until 9:45AM at the funeral home. Interment with honors to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
