Mr Miller, Rich Jr. I am so sorry for your loss. I had no idea Barbara had passed untill today October 5th, i just found out. My thoughts and prayers are sent to you and your family. I loved Barbara. We all did. Her and I, hit it off from the first time I met her. When she was working as a courier for the hospital. She was so sweet, so much fun. She Loved her husband Rich , son Rich , and those grandsons, all so much. She was so sweet, so generous, so thoughtful at Christmas. Barbara will not be forgotten

Aunt Barb was the best! She always had a way of making you smile and laugh. I will miss the birthday calls, cards and all the stickers she put on every envelope. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

Dear Rich Sr & Rich Jr. Our sincere condolences for your loss. Barbara was the greatest sister in law one could ever wish for. Barbara was a machine that almost automatically sent out cards to everyone for every occasion. ( Lets Not Forget ) when the mailman arrived you did not have to open quickly, because you seen the stickers everywhere. Barbara you will be truly forever missed & so loved by us. We had many a good day. You are now in peace in heaven and pain free. You knew in your heart prior to leaving us Rich would be taken good care of and I promise you he will be. Rest in peace. Your loving brother in law Lou & sister in law Susan.

Aunt Barb simply put...nurturer to all.
For years, I called her for advice on any and all ailments and medications (I’m pretty sure she told me she was a doctor...and I believed it) she was a nickname connoisseur, keeper of all chocolate, sticker queen, random picture taker and avid Phils & Birds fan! Above all of the funny things she did, she was a great person who was unremittingly concerned about others and always without fail remembered important dates and milestones. Some of my earliest and most fond memories include Aunt Barbara and Uncle Richie. Every place they took Richie I was there for example; Wildwood at the Lollipop hotel, which was great until she stuck me in the same bed with her mother :-)
Some of the best childhood memories originated during holiday parties and BBQ's at their house and as we got older "click" parties became, well let’s just say more interesting. She has been a staple in this family and will be missed.
p.s. Aunt Barb go find my grandma DeBenedittis, give her a smoke and have an amaretto sour.

I am related to Aunt Barb through marriage. When Mike brought me home to meet the family, 24 years ago, she and Uncle Rich welcomed me into the family and made me feel so welcomed. Since Mike and I were in the military and lived far from home, I didn't get the chance to see her often, but she always made me feel special every time we came for a visit. She never forgot a birthday or an anniversary, EVER. She did this because she wanted others to feel special on their special day. I admire her love and dedication to her friends and family. Although she will be dearly missed, I know she is with our heavenly father. Uncle Rich/Little Rich, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you both.
