Obituary of Robert C. Gray
Robert C. Gray, a resident of Sicklerville, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. He was 78.
Legacy
Robert will be remembered as a truly one of a kind man. He was humble and had a sense of humor; generous and creative; he enjoyed the simple things in life and never took life for granted. Robert was a family man. He adored his wife of 57 years, Beatrice. The love that they shared was remarkable.
Robert enjoyed working with his hands. For many years, he was employed as a sheet metal worker with RCA in Camden and was a carpenter after that. Robert had a talent for creating things from wood. He enjoyed all types of music, especially Elvis, and his radio was always on. Robert liked to spend time gardening, loved mowing the grass and boat rides. Christmas was his second favorite holiday, his birthday being the first, where he would go to the casino to play the slot machines and finish off the day with ice-cream cake with his family. Robert was proud of his baptism and was a born again Christian. He was devoted to Jesus.
Family
He is the beloved husband to the late Beatrice Gray (nee Stutzenburg); devoted father of Kenneth Gray (Vickki), Deborah Payne (Dan), Frank Gray and the late Robert Gray; loving grandfather to Amanda Ancello, Jessica Evans, Kaitlyn Ancello, Destiny Davidson and Cari Halik; cherished great-grandfather to Taylor, Malia and Silas.
