Obituary of Frank J. Rizzo

RIZZO, Frank, formerly of the 1800 block of S. 12th St. on June 20, 2008. Aged 91 years. Frank was an easygoing man who could always keep a smile on your face. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Frank graduated from Central High School in 1936 and soon left to serve his country in the US Navy during World War II. Many times you could find Frank with a guitar, golf club, bowling ball or baseball bat in his hand. Frank was also a devout Mummer, and New Years Day was a sight to see at the Rizzo Home along with the sounds of Frank's voice in the air. He is the beloved husband of the late Christina nee Galasso; Devoted father of Janet Rizzo and Barbara Steve Mahan; Loving grandfather of David and Mark Beamen and Nicole and Natalie Mahan; Dear brother of the late Alfred "Al" and the late Adolph "Abe" Rizzo; Brother-in-law of Catherine Galasso; Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday 6:30-9PM and Wednesday 8-9:15 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Township Sewell, NJ.
