Obituary of Andrew C. Criss

CRISS—Andrew C., Jr. of Washington Twp., suddenly on June 16, 2008. Aged 64 years. Andy was a hardworking, happy-go-lucky guy who was always a joy to be around. Born in Philadelphia, Andy was a life long resident of Gloucester County; growing up in Deptford, living in Sewell for 44 years, before moving to Washington Township 7 years ago. His talent as an accomplished musician was know throughout the area. Playing the guitar, banjo and keyboard with his band; Andy entertained in many local halls and other venues. For the last 10 years he was the owner and operator of Concepts In Lighting in Mantua. Prior to starting his own business, Andy worked as a truck driver for Campbell's Auto Express for many years. Above all, he was a guy who was strongly devoted to his family, whom he enjoyed spending his free time with, especially the treasured times in Ocean City, MD. He is the beloved husband of 44 years to Harriet nee Burr; devoted father of Andrew III Jill, Michael Nancy and Amy Aquino Carlos; dear brother of Gerald Melody and Edward Lany Criss and Deborah Buffington Phil; loving grandfather of Alyssa, Dana, Hailey and Danica; dear son of the late Ramona nee Shelly and Andrew Criss, Sr.; beloved master to his poodle, Bailey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Fri. 6:30-9 PM and Sat. 10-10:45 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp., where funeral services will be celebrated Sat. 11 AM.
