Obituary of Marjorie A. Caton

CATON—Marjorie A. nee Bower of Woodbury, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on June 15, 2008, after a year long struggle with cancer and heart disease. She was 74 years of age. Marjorie served as secretary to the principal of Woodbury High School for 28 years. Many of her friends and professional associates will remember her as a beautiful woman who was noted for her fashionable attire. Marjorie was also an avid gardener. Many local people marveled at the beauty of her hanging baskets of flowers, containerized plantings and English Gardens. Marjorie was beautiful, loved beauty and her home, grounds and entire demeanor reflected that. Beloved wife of 52 years to Dr. Richard G., Sr.; devoted mother of Richard G., Jr. and the late Christopher D., Sr. Cindy; loving grandmother of Christopher and Kelly; dear sister of Mary-Jane Kukorlo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Fri. 6:30-9 PM and Sat. 8:30-9:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury.
