Obituary of Felicia S. Cheltenham

CHELTENHAM — Felicia S. nee Simms of West Deptford on May 24, 2008. Aged 71 years. Sissy will be remembered as a kind hearted, warm person who was a well loved "mother figure" and friend to many. Sissy was born in Philadelphia. She attended both West Chester University as well as Glassboro State College, earning her Masters Degree in Library Science. For 35 years she served as teacher and librarian of middle school students in the Deptford Twp., retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Gloucester County, New Jersey and National Education Associations. Sissy was a long-time parishioner of St. Patrick's Church where she enjoyed being a member of their choir family. She is the devoted mother of Christopher J.; dear sister of John B. Simms and the late Catherine Isaili; dear grandmother to Amanda and Makenzie; loving aunt to 5 and great-aunt to 9. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Mass Fri. 10:30 AM in Saint Patrick RC Church, 64 Cooper St., Woodbury, NJ 08096. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
