RUSSELL, Walter W., of Woodbury Heights, on May 22, 2008. Aged 71 years. Walt was a warm and outgoing gentleman who enjoyed joking and spending time with his family. Born and raised in Mt. Ephraim, Walt soon joined the US Navy and proudly defended our country for two years. Upon his return, Walt met and married Penny and would spend the next 49 loving years with her. Walt was the owner and operator of Walt's Barber Shop in Wenonah for over 10 years and worked for Pete's Barber Shop before retiring in 2005. Walt could be found listening to Rock 'n' Roll or Country music or frequently spending time catching a fish and winning casino jackpots. He is the Beloved Husband of the beautiful Penny nee Maier; Devoted father of Wesley Valerie Russell and Deidra Anthony, Sr. Stagliano; Loving grandfather of Krystle, Ashlyne, Anthony, Jr. and Ashton; Adoring great grandfather of Taylor; Dear brother of William Russell.
