Obituary of Leo A.. Houser

Houser, Leo A., of Woodbury Heights, NJ, passed away on May 14, 2008; aged 91 years. Leo was a quiet gentleman who had a great outlook on life. He never had an unkind word to say about others and always had a smile. Leo enjoyed his retirement and kept himself busy. He was an accomplished photographer and artist and had a fond appreciation of classical music. He enjoyed painting and while living at the Woodbury Mews had an art show with many of his favorite paintings. Leo will be remembered for his easy going ways and will be sadly missed. Born in Lebanon, PA, Leo was a longtime resident of Woodbury Heights. He was a United States Navy Combat Veteran of World War II from 1942—1945 and serving during the Africa, Sicily and Salerno Invasions. Leo also worked in the Steel industry for over 45 years. Beloved Husband of the late, Anna M. nee Bucci; Devoted Father of Anthony Janet Houser and Liberta John Storm; Loving Grandfather of Brian and Joanne Storm and David Houser; Dear Brother of John "Tex" Houser and Teresa Rudegeair. Viewing on Monday, 6:30—9:00 and Tuesday, 8:30—9:15 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street Woodbury, NJ. Mass will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret's RC Church, Third and Beech Streets Woodbury Heights, NJ. Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
