Obituary of Jean M. Green
Green, Jean nee DeThomas, of Thorofare, NJ; passed away on May 13, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Aged 78 years.
Jean was a strong and independent woman who was devoted to her family. Jean's legacy was her family. She was the kind of wife, mother and grandmother that every family wanted; she was loving, protective and loyal. She was a wonderful cook and her famous rice pudding, coleslaw and spaghetti sauce will be truly missed. In her spare time, Jean loved to read, crochet and do ceramics. Jean was also a true Irish woman at heart and loved to celebrate her heritage. Anybody who knew Jean knows that she never said Goodbye, she always said "See you Later."; anybody who heard that will miss hearing that again.
Born in the Bronx, NY, Jean was a resident of Thorofare for 50 years and was a longtime parishioner of St. Matthew's RC Church.
