Obituary of Edna M. Munz

Munz, Edna, M., 83, nee Jordan of Deptford; formerly of S. Philadelphia; peacefully passed away on May 6, 2008. Edna will be fondly remembered for her passion to live life to the fullest and always be available to lend a helping hand in any way; especially to her younger brother who she loved very much. Edna was a "Rosie the Riveter" for Brills, during World War II helping the war effort by building planes . Later she married and had a daughter, Barbara Lee. She devoted the rest of her life to being a homemaker, wonderful mother and volunteer for the Special Olympics and ARC of Gloucester County for her daughter, Barbara. In her leisure time, Edna enjoyed spending time on the beach and at the boardwalk in Wildwood with Barbara and occasionally trying her luck at the casinos of Atlantic City. Edna is predeceased by her beloved husband, William L .; and their daughter , Barbara Lee Munz. She is survived by her dear brother, Joseph W. Helen Jordan, Jr. Also survived by her nieces; Barbara Tom Norwood Jordan and Joann George Hanson. Great aunt of Brianna and Nicole Hanson. In addition to her family Edna loved animals and was former master of her two late dogs; Cookie & Ginger. Viewing Friday after 11:30 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
