Obituary of Joseph Futchko

FUTCHKO, Joseph, of Woodbury, on May 6, 2008. Aged 84 years. Known for his humor and vivacity, Joseph will be greatly missed by all. Joseph proudly served his country and was well decorated in the US Army during World War II. Once he arrived back home, he was employed for SEPTA as a bus driver for over 30 years before retiring. Joseph was a member of the VFW and enjoyed spending all of his spare time with his loving family. He also enjoyed hunting and vacationing in Florida. He is the Beloved Husband of the late Dorothy nee Shipley; Devoted father of Karen DiPol and Veronica Nizzardi; Loving grandfather of Tracy Maier, Joseph, Christopher, Stephanie and Nicholas; Adoring great grandfather of Samantha, Jessica, Tyler Page, Cooper Michael, Lexie Mckenna and Ethan Thomas. Viewing 9:30-11 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury Funeral service will be celebrated at 11.
