Obituary of Lorraine R. Raspa

Raspa, Lorraine R. 75, of Woodbury Heights, suddenly passed away on May 1, 2008. Loving and caring, especially toward her family is how Lorraine will be remembered by those who knew this remarkable woman. Lorraine worked for the Borough of Woodbury Heights for two years as the clerk before joining Gloucester County Family Courts where she served as Clerk for eighteen years until her retirement in 1998. Away from her work, Lorraine enjoyed summers in Ocean City, traveling to exciting destinations with her family and would never miss an opportunity to enjoy a Bloody Mary at the Dizzy Dolphin in the A.C. Hilton. In addition to her service to the community, Lorraine served her church, St. Margaret as a faithful parishioner and as President of the Women's Club and Vice President of St. Margaret Seniors Club. Lorraine is the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Raspa, Sr. Loving mother of Michael J. Jr., Richard Neen and Marc Wendy Raspa. Grandmother of Michael, Nina, Richie, Marc and Adrienna Raspa. Viewing Sunday 7 to 9 PM and Monday 9 to 9:45 AM in St. Margaret R. C. Church, 3rd & Beech Avenues, Woodbury Heights. Mass of Resurrection Monday 10 AM in the Church.
