Obituary of David B. Thomas

Thomas, David B. of Mantua, NJ, passed away on April 28, 2008. Aged 63 years. David was a courageous and loyal man who was devoted to his family. He enjoyed wood working and was quite the handy man. He loved to spend time at the shore, especially Sea Isle City and traveling to St. Maarten and Key West. David will be remembered for his loveable ways and will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him. Born in Woodbury, NJ, David was a resident of Mantua for the past 2 years and prior to that lived in Mickelton for 24 years. He was a United States Navy Veteran and prior to retiring in November of 2007, David was a network technician with Verizon in Woodbury for 38 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 37 years to Mary Anne nee Trakimas; devoted father of Michael D. Leanne and Jeffrey C. Joann; loving grandfather of Marley Thomas and DJ Joseph; Dear son of Emma Thomas and the late William; dear brother of Patricia John Benne; loving son in law of the late, Walter and Matilda nee Simcox Trakimas and brother in law of Walter E. Trakimas. Also survived by many cousins and nephews. Viewing on Monday, 8:15—10:15 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street Woodbury, NJ. Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's RC Church, Euclid and Cooper Streets, Woodbury, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
