Bill loved life. The strong passion for family, community and faith he demonstrated throughout his life, truly made a difference in the many lives he touched.
As a boy, Bill called South Philadelphia home and later entered the US Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. He provided for his family as a talented metal framer / lather for over 20 years and then was employed in the public works department in West Deptford Twp., where he also served as an officer in the Special Police Forces. He was a devoted member of St. Matthew's Church and was a 4th degree Knight with the KOC #13259, where he served as Past Grand Knight. He became an active and beloved member of the First United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed participating in virtually every church event; serving as chair of the trustee committee and active with the PPRC. Sports was an ever-present passion for Bill. He served as coach and umpire of West Deptford Little League, where he was also past president. Bill was also active with District 15 Committee Baseball and well at Tri-county Midget Football League. He was a member of the Army-Navy Garrison, American Legion Post #133 and the VFW #6884.
