Obituary of Phyllis A. Cardamone
Cardamone, Phyllis A. nee Filardi, of Sicklerville, NJ formerly of Collingswood, NJ, aged 66 years, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2008.
Phyllis was a smart, independent and strong willed woman. She was a woman of great faith and devoted to her family, especially her grandsons, Michael and Luke. They were the apple of her eye and she was completely devoted to them. Phyllis enjoyed shopping, keeping up with current events, following the presidential primaries and keeping a wonderful and immaculate home for her family. Phyllis also enjoyed watching the History and Home and Garden Channels. Phyllis will be remembered for her unique and contagious laugh and will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Phyllis was a resident of Collingswood for 30 years prior to moving to Sicklerville 15 years ago. Phyllis was a faithful parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo RC Church and was a sales associate for Ciro Lighting in Philadelphia, PA for the past 10 years.
Beloved wife of 45 years to Gabriel P.; Devoted mother of Maria John Colwell and Gabrielle David Carmona; Loving grandmother of Michael Colwell and Luke Carmona; Cherished daughter of Philomena R. nee Cifelli and the late Rocco J. Filardi, Sr. and dear brother of Rocco J. Jr.
The family of Phyllis would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the many that continuously supported them through the past months. Whether it was a phone call, card or visit, these acts of kindness were a tremendous source of comfort to them through this painful time.
