I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I know that it is never an easy time. As you probably know my Mom passed away almost 2 years ago.
When Mair e mailed me the announcement I thought of all the good times we all had there on the 1300 block of Jackson street and how it was such a different world.
I wish you all the best.

Dear Donato, Jeanette, Nick, Di, Camille, Scott, Ann, Tim & children.
We first met your parents when Ann married Tim. Over the years we had the opportunity to see what a fine, decent, compassionate and loving man your Dad was.
As the years go by, you'll notice in yourselves & your children the traits that were seeds planted by Dan. These will flourish from one generation to another as a reminder of your Dad.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this trying time.
We will miss him.
Sincerely,
Jack and Kathy Darnall

Dear Mrs. Schiraldi, Donato, Nick, Camille, and my best friend forever, Ann,
I would like to send our condolences on the loss of your husband and father. While this is truly a tragic event, Mr. Schiraldiâ??s life was anything but tragic. Thinking back, I remember him at his house on Jackson Street; the leader of the family, welcoming of all who entered sprinkling each with his quick wit. Love was evident. He worked all those years at the bakery and through it all still maintained his passion for his wife, family and faith. I still remember the look of pride on his face when he moved into the house in Woodbury Heights. It was a well deserved relocation. While that was a fulfilling moment, it was only a slight movement on the Richter Scale of Life compared to the expression that was visible on his face while walking Ann to the alter at her wedding. Even after retirement Mr. Schiraldi couldnâ??t rest. His community leadership enhanced St. Margaretâ??s and Oak Valleyâ??s Senior Club. Many involved will miss his great works, but not as much as Mrs. Schiraldi. The two were a team. At times you could see them communicate with each other without saying a word. They traveled together, worshipped together, and parented together. While the current mourning is a most difficult period, the reflection of Mr. Schiraldiâ??s life will eventually out shine the agony of his death.
With Much Love,
Lynn, Bill, Will and Kiersten Campbell

Dear Schiraldi Family,
I would like to extend my sincere condolences to each of you. Although we are not acquainted personally, however, we are acquainted with the pain of losing a loved one in death. May you find comfort in knowing that â??Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.â? â?? Psalm 34;18. A key to enduring this suffering is knowing that the Bible teaches that soon "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...to a resurrection of life"-John 5;28,29. While grief at the loss of Donato is great, joy at receiving Donato in the resurrection right here on earth under peaceful conditions will be greater. Mark 5;42. Please read and find strength in Godâ??s promises during this difficult time and days to come. Take care,
A
