To the Family, of who I only knew as, Duke Martorano. I have not seen Duke in 25 years, since High School. Not that I have thought about him thru out the years, ya see, I had the biggest crush on him when we went 2 Vocie. I remember I wanted 2 talk 2 him, the only way I could think was 2 bum a cigarette off of him in the smoking box. So I mustered up the courage and asked. He pulled out a pack of Pall Mall. As much as I wanted 2 take it so I'd be able 2 stand there & talk 2 him...It was a Pall Mall. So I said "No thanx" & walked away. It is so crazy that it was about a year ago I tried 2 find him via internet. I was unsuccessful. I wish I would have tried alittle sooner!!! I am So Sorry for your loss!!! I wish more then you know, I could have been there 2 share your grief!!!
Sincerely,
Lisa Marie Liquori

I offer my condolences. I grew up on GoodIntent rd at the top of the hill and was Dukeys child hood friend. My sisters were friends with Nickey. We fished "down at the bridge", played at the old Blenhiem Elementary school, caught garter snakes back at Bradbury Vault, etc. Over the years I have passed by your house and often thought, "i wonder how dukeys doing, i should stop in", but never did.
I am very sorry for your loss and wish dukey may truly rest in peace, he left the world a young man, far too early.

Dukie, we are still in shock at your leaving us. We always counted on you to bring smiles to the children of all ages. Your stories and your shenanigans livened up so many a get-togethers! We're all very heartbroken that you have gone but we know you and Nicky are swapping stories and smiles now! Watch over us from there, especially your mom and pop. They need that now more than ever. We'll miss you Duke more than you can imagine. Love,

Duke, my dearest bloodbrother, I'm out here near Mexico but I'm flyin' in to give ya one more hug before we meet in heaven. You will always be my dearest friend ever and the best 10,000 moments of my life were with you by my side. Tell Nicky I'll be there soon enough. You guys better save me a spot. I don't know if there are any cool people left on Earth now. Remember the time I slept over and everybody laughed at me at breakfast because you secretly gave me a makeover with a sharpie? Or how about the time when I had no one else to turn to and you came a running? You will always be by my side! See ya both when I get there! JJ
