Thank you, for calling to tell me about your mom. I can't believe it. I am so sorry. I am Cathy's Avon representative and I have delivered Cathy's orders for years and when we had the chance to see each other, Cathy always asked about my kids & my family. She always spoke proudly of her family to me. I didn't know Cathy outside of our Avon relationship but when we did see each other, she always had a smile & I always enjoyed seeing her on delivery day and she always seemed genuinely happy to see me too. I guess that God needed her for something very special. I will miss her too.

Lisa, Steven, and Mr. Tash-
I want to say how deeply sorry I am and what an incredible bond your family has. You three were unbelievably strong and your strength really held everyone else together during this emotional time.
Lisa-You said how your mom touched so many lives and I guess I never realized how much she really touched mine. My decision to become a teacher was due to your encouragement, you believing in me, and your passion for being a teacher. And you got that from your mother. I would have never been inspired to become a teacher without you, and you never would have been doing what you do with your mother's passion for children. So, I have to thank you and thank her for that.
Mrs. Tash was a true inspiration and will be greatly missed. I love you all very much and I am always here.
Love,
Sam

Dear Lisa, Mr. Tash, and Steven-
I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Tash was an amazing Woman, Mom, Wife, Caregiver, and Friend. May you find strength in the lives of the people she has touched. I already told Lisa this- but she may be gone from your sight, but not from the place that it matters most- your heart. I am here for all of you, and just a phone call away. In my thoughts and prayers...

Dear Steve,Lisa and Steven
We met Cathy 13 years ago when we first moved to WD. Cathy was my biggest blessing in Life!! And I am not sure I ever told her that face to face. As a mother I never had to worry about my children when they were in Cathy's care. She started watching Suzy and then Jimmy. In all the yrs she took care of them I never remember Cathy not being there. I owe Cathy so much for taking such good care of my precious possesions. She also was a Wonderful Friend. I will miss the phone calls at least once a day just for a laugh or to get her hair done. Cathy was a great person and will sadly be missed by all. I will never find another friend like her. I love you
Cathy!

Dear Marge, David, Lisa and Steven,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am your distant cousin in Florida, and have heard so many stories from your mom David and grandmother about Cathy. She was so proud of her. I only had the oppurtunity to meet Cathy once, when she was about 10 years old, and she was so cute, and so shy! She certainly grew to be a loving, beautiful, thoughtful, woman, one who touched many lives along her short journey here on earth. I too collect angels, and clowns,so could be we share some family traits! I would have loved to have known her, I feel like I did through the stories from her mother. God Bless you all, and comfort you all knowing she is Home, and you will all see her again someday in Heaven.
Love, Pamela Dopson

I am going to miss your mom very much. She was apart of m family as much as my own blood relatives are. She had the biggest heart of anyone I'll ever know. Cathy was also a wise woman in my eyes, for she helped my mother and I choose the proper course in some of my teenage dilemmas. I am so sorry I cannot come to the funeral due to school. I will miss dear Cathy and I regret that she had to be taken so soon from us all. However, she will always be with us all.

Dear Steve, Lisa, and Steven,
How saddened we are by the loss of your wife/mother. As you know, Cathy was a part of our family for many years...the early years as a neighbor to Dawn and her family a caregiver to Casey, as a shoulder to lean on for us at the passing of Debbie Waligorski Mitana, and as a friend/sister/aunt. She was always a great person for us to look to for advice. She was a great mother, wife, friend, sister, etc. We will have a void in our lives forever, however we have many great, happy memories of her. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Love, Ray, Dawn And Casey

As a best friend to Lisamarie, I had the joy of talking with "Mrs. Tash" anytime I came over in New Jersey or Ocean City. She always took the time to really listen to what was going on in our lives and really wanted to know everything. She cared so much about everyone around her and always went that extra mile with the little things she did like chatting with us late into the night, cleaning up after us, making her infamous taco dip, or providing extra blankets for us because we said we were cold. She always made everyone feel extra welcome in her home and had a way of making anyone smile: She gave so much to her community and spoke so fondly about her family, neighbors, and friends as she had an amazing appreciation for the memories that she held. She will be extremely missed and anyone that has been touched by her life is truly blessed.
Much love to the Tash family. You all are so special, and Mrs. Tash will always be in our hearts.

Dear Steve, Lisa and Steven Thomas:
Cathy has been watching my children for over eighteen years, but she was so much more than a babysitter. She was a trusted second mother to them, a guiding light to everyone she met, and a good friend to our family. We're all heartbroken, and will miss her immensely.
Cathy, I know what a huge debt of gratitude I owe you. You took such excellent care of my children and allowed me to go to work knowing that your love and wisdom would surround them every day. Every time I see Max tie his shoe or Libby put on her coat "the backwards way," I'll remember you and give thanks you were in our lives.
