Obituary of Leona R. Megahan

MEGAHAN?Leona R. nee Blizzard on December 8, 2007. Aged 73 years. Devoted as a loving wife and mother, Leona was the glue that held her family together. Born in Millville, Leona was a graduate of Woodbury High and has called Deptford home for almost 60 years. Active in Good Intent School as her children were growing up, she served as former president of the PTA. Leona enjoyed listening to Johnny Mathis and Engelbert Humperdinck. Trying her luck at the casinos in Atlantic City, playing BINGO, cooking and spending time with her family were things that were special to Leona. She is the beloved wife of 56 years to Donald E., Sr.; devoted mother of Joyce Frank the late William, Donald E., Jr. Linda, Eileen Garcia Arias, Carol Armstrong Ken, Robert and Kevin Megahan; dear sister of Carolyn Hoolahan the late Jack; loving grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 10. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tues. 6:30-9 and Wed. 8:30-9 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral Mass Wed. 10 AM in St. John Vianney RC Church, Blackwood Terrace. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Township.
