Teresa,
I think of you often. It is very sad that you had to pass at such a young age. You left behind a beautiful legacy in Michael and Ashley. I know that Rich misses you very much. I will keep you in my thoughts and will always remember our time together but for now it is your time to rest. Until we meet again I will take comfort in knowing that there is not pain in heaven.
Love, Patsy

I have so many found memories of Teresa as a little girl, young lady and a grown woman. We had been thru so many good and some bad times together. I will cherish the good.
You were a wonderful wife sometimes a little tough on Rich and a great mother. Now it is your time to rest. Remember to give my love to daddy as I know you are together. Love, Patsy

Teresa,
Thank you for being a great friend. I will keep all those special memories of Cape May, SOCCER memories, and our special chats over a cup of coffee close in my heart. All those times sitting by your bedside knowing I had to fight back the tears until I left because you were just so strong for all your family and friends. What can I say but, "Thank you for being such a wonderful friend". I will look at the angel you gave me everyday and think about all those special memories. THANK YOU!!!!
Love, Barb

Rich, Ashley & Michael,
We will always remember what a wonderful person that Teresa was. She had a big heart that was always there for everyone else. Keep those special memories close to your heart and a smile on your face. That is what she wanted for all of you. Our family is deeply saddened but understands that she is in a much better place. I am sure her wings were waiting for her at the door and she will be watching over all of us.

1. "move your meat, lose your seat"
2. "you can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose"
3. "you can pick your friends but you can't pick your family"
....All phrases I learned from my Aunt Teresa.... my aunt who also acted like a big sister to me when I was young.
Thanks for those phrases, Aunt Teresa, especially #3, in addition to all the other things you taught and shared over the years. We were all blessed to have you.
We'll miss you ~ Stephen

Rich, Michael & Ashley:
I can?t put into words all that Teresa was to me. Teresa knew the true meaning of friendship and I am so glad that we got to be friends. Whenever we talked and I asked her how she was her reply was always, ?I?m fine, it?s my family I worry about.? She took special pride in her family and I know loved you all so deeply. She was always worried and concerned about someone else other than herself and was always willing to help be it with volunteer work or just sitting down over a cup of coffee and offering advice and insight. Her thoughtfulness towards others always astounded me even in her last days. I will miss our little ?outings? but I will always have the memories, she always brought a smile to my face and made me laugh. I will treasure our visits together these past months and as much as I did not want to let her go, I know she is now in a better place. It was time for HER to get her ?ANGEL WINGS?.
Love & Condolences to you and your family, Carol

Rich,Mike and Ashley,
We are so sorry for your loss. I will hold my last visit with Thresea in my heart forever. She was so strong and always so uplifting. Her kind words and worry for my family seemed more important to her than her own sickness, that was the way she was. She was such a great friend to our family and we will always hold our memories of her dear to our hearts. Our laughs and our tears and all of our fun times will keep her with us forever. Our prayers and our love are with you today and always.Fred and Nancy

Rich, Michael & Ashley,
I am so sorry for all the pain you are going through. Teresa was a good friend who I will miss a lot. From the first day she told me of her diagnosis until the end, she amazed me with her bravery & determination. She was always more concerned about her family and friends and how her condition was affecting them more than herself. I cannot tell you how many times I walked out your front door to cry because I would not do it in front of her because once when I did she handed me a tissue and comforted me instead of me comforting her. That was the dignity and grace that Teresa showed to anyone who came to see her.
I will miss our long chats and her wisdom. "It's been a pleasure" is what she would say when we were leaving each other. That is how I feel having the opportunity to have Teresa as a friend and an important person in my life.

Big A, Mr. A and Mike-
Im extremely sorry for your loss. Mrs.A was like family to us and we have shared many good memories through soccer, school or our never ending adventures, that were through thick and thin. Mrs.A was always there for me with her very memorable talks and her humble personality will never be forgotten. She was truly an amazing person, who will always be cherished. Mrs.A was one of the most stongest women i have ever meet and i know she she will shine down on us for the years to come. She has an amazing family and it is admirable to see how she has guided and raised such beautiful, successful children.
"It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again."
With Loving Memories
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Rich, Ashley, and Michael,
When I first heard Teresa had Cancer, I truly had a hard time believing it. She seemed to healthy to be sick. When I saw her last, I still didn't want to admit she was that ill. It wasn't until I left that day that I realized she would be seeing God real soon.
I know we were out of touch since we both left soccer, but she was a special friend to me. I have so many great memories of visiting her at the house and just talking. She was a great friend who so loved all of you.
All of you are in my prayers and be consoled that she is at peace keeping watch over you.
I know I didn't see her as much as I should have, but she will always have a special place in my heart.

Dear Rich,Ashley, and Michael-
Our family is so sorry to hear about Theresa's passing. We will miss her terribly. We will always cherish the wonderful memories of screaming girls going to soccer games and tournaments, sitting in the van to keep from freezing to death watching a game, and endless conversations about the trials and tribulations of raising teenagers. Let me just say it was an honor knowing Theresa. In all the years of her suffering with cancer I never heard her complain ever. She just kept on going and giving to others. Whenever the team needed volunteers there was Theresa and Rich. All the time, every time.
Know now that her suffering has ended and she is finally at peace. She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Sincerest Condolences and love from the Romaine Family

Richard,
We are very sorry for your loss of your wife, best friend, Mother of your children. Surely Teresa opened her eyes and saw Jesus, standing at Heaven's Gates, greeting her with His arms outstretched. God needed her back home once again for a special assignment; she has become your guardian angel, able to keep watch over all of you in a nano-second.
"When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see,
When the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you do today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
all those I dearly love.
But as I turn to walk away,
A tear will fill my eye,
For all my life, I'd always thought,I do not want to die.
I have so much to live for,
So much left yet to do,
it seems almost impossible,
that I'll be leaving you.
I think of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I think of all that we have shared,
And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realize,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.
And when I think of worldly things,
I might miss some tomorrow,
I think of you, and when I do,
My heart is filled with sorrow.
But when I walk through heaven's gates, I'll feel so much at home.
When God looks down and smiles at me, from His great golden throne,
He'll say, "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you.
Today your life on earth is past,
but here life starts anew."
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
and since each day is the same way,
There's no longing for the past.
So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right there, in your heart "
