The first time I met Jean she was nursing Frankie @ the Cotter's house. He had a head full of red hair. Gillie was running around the back yard after a dog and I stood in awe. I had just has my first and was trying to figure everything out and here was this "SUPER MOM". nursing while following Gillie. WOW! What a great woman she was! How blessed we are to have met her and her family and to have shared in each others lives. There will always be a piece of Jean in each of us and we will share that piece with everyone we meet. She will forever touch people's lives.

Gillian, Geoff, and Frankie,
We will always have such fond memories of Jean. Her smiles and laughter were contagious, and so genuine. Al and I had such long conversations with her about Kate and Gillian, as they spent time playing together and in sports together. Al remembers spending time talking with Jean on her front porch when picking up or dropping off Kate - such great memories. We will keep her and your family in our hearts.

Margie and I will always remember having such a pleasant conversation with Jean outside Clearview one bright afternoon. A kind and gentle woman and mother, she was always a pleasure to speak with and be around. Heaven has surely acquired what the earth has lost. Our prayers are with you.

I've never met a person that smiled half as genuinely as Mrs. Young did every single time she greeted me or anyone else. She was the very essence of happiness. She will be sorely missed but her beautiful nature has not gone far. I still see it every time I see any member of the Young Family. May she shine on forever through the goodness in them even in their darkest of days.

Dear Geoff and family, our condolences for your loss. It has been a long time but we fondly remember camping trips to watch hawks, "splitting" firewood and sharing so many laughs.

The English language would surely go bankrupt trying to state what Jean meant to everyone she touched. Words of praise and adoration are lost to us. We have lost a glorious person who out shone the sun itself. In life she scaled the heights of kindness and the depths of friendship. She found joy in a wonderful family. May she be rewarded, with the keys to paradise forever.
May Geoff, Gillian and Frankie, find comfort in the knowledge that she had a life well- lived, and a soul well loved.
We miss you already Jean.
God Bless you and your loving family.

Geoff, Gillian and Frank,
Our hearts are breaking over the sudden loss of Jean. She was the best. A dear friend. We had so fun raising our kids together, sharing in those wonderful times of proms and graduations. She was always there for me, supporting me and my family through some very difficult times and celebrating the good times. We will miss her very much.
Peace and love to you all,
Katie Gardner

I am so very sorry about your loss. I only met Jean a few times, but I remember her smile and her sense of humor, which of course she needed to keep up with you. Life doesn't always seem fair, but it sounds as if Jean had faith and the love of family which is about as good as it gets. I am thinking of you and your family.
