Dad, I can't believe it's been as long as it has since I've seen your smile or heard one of your corny jokes! You are on my mind every day and I miss you so much that it hurts! I just wanted to tell you that your grandson had a great first week of High School Yes...High School and your granddaughter is taking on the fifth grade with with a vengeance! They feel a void every day without you but the memories of "their crazy PopPop" not only help them through but they give them a sense of fulfillment knowing that you have been in their life. We love you...ALWAYS!

Dad,
Wow, that feels odd. Its like I told you the night before you left us, no one in this world could replace my father however, if there ever was a man that deserved that respect, it is you! Linda, DJ and Maddie miss you so much! You were a wonderful grandfather and a special freind! I'm going to Dover with some freinds on June 1st. I have a great Dale Jr. hat that I ordered online shortly after you left us in November. I plan on finding a special place there and hiding it in hopes that it stays there for many years to come. This way you'll be there for many years. I have to tell you this, I love you, respect you and miss you so much! You were the father to me that you didn't have to be! I'll baby your baby like I promised you.

Dad, I've been thinking about you so much lately. Not a day has gone by where I don't miss you. I wish you were here now to sing one of your silly songs or crack my kids up with one of your silly jokes. We all miss you SO, SO much. DJ & Maddie are always talking about some crazy thing PopPop did to make them laugh. I love that they have such great memeories of you! I just wish that you were still here to watch them grow. We all love you and miss you!

I think of John and Dotti every single day. I just can't get over their passing so close in time. We both feel such a huge void without John and Dotti. They were such a joy and pleasure to be around. They had wanted us to go to Jamaica with them and we were planning to go. We had so many things planned to do together. Dotti was so warm and lovable and John was so irreverant and funny, no one made me laugh more. We just miss them so badly, it hurts. We love you John and Dott.

Dad, Debbie told me that she comes here to talk to her parents and I decided that I would try the same. I miss you more than I can I could've imagined possible. The void that I feel without you in my life is unbearable. My kids miss their Pop-Pop & I miss my Daddy. Just knowing that you were a phone call away always made me feel safe and now that feeling isn't there. I know that you are now my guardian angel and will continue to take care of me but I MISS YOU! When Mommy died you and I were all we had and I know that bond will always be in my heart. I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and my heart every day. I love you, Daddy!

I am a friend of his daughter Linda. I do not know him but I have heard many stories about who he is. Through the stories I have learned that he is a father that every child wants. He loved his family very much. I know he was a soldier to the end. John will be loved and missed forever. He will live on through many fond memories being shared. Aunt Gloria, Carol, Jackie, Linda, and all of the Family and Grandchildren,
Our hearts go out to all of you at this sad time. Johnny has touched all of our lives in such a "Special" way. We will all dearly miss his gentle smile and loving ways. We pray that you all may find comfort in knowing that Johnny is now out of all his pain and is "Home" with "Jesus".
