I am one of Jack's 9 grand-daughters. My grand-father meant the world to me. He is an example of what a man should be. I have so many found memories of him...and I am glad that my children were able to spend a part of their lives with him too. No one really knew that my grand-father chose the name for my daughter. I would spend time with him just watching TV and the character on one of the shows was named Caitlyn.. he said that it was a beautiful Irish name and he wished that one of his grand-daughter's had that name.. I told him half jokingly that I would name my daughter Caitlyn someday if I had a girl. When I was told my first child was a girl the name Caitlyn came right into my mind and there was no other name I could think of. Grand-pa, your beloved Caitlyn misses you dearly.. I sat outside with her the other evening and the wind was blowing so gently.. I told her the wind was you... blowing kisses in her hair... you are the wind in my hair.. the sparkle of the stars... and the light of my days... may you rest peacefully with the angels. I love you and will miss you... you will live on forever in our hearts... you are a part of each one of us. I am proud to be a Troxell and a part of you
