John a man with a heart the size of Ireland! And a very proud Irishman indeed.A bit of a entertainer i might add John was full of stories, he could keep you laughing without trying in the 11 years i knew John i never knew a man with so much to give. If John knew someone who was having hard times especialy with kids he would find something around his house that needed to be fixed and you were just the person he was looking for to do the job. He did it in a way that did not make you feel like charity. And he was quiet about it never a braggert.I seen John make changes in peoples lives for the good changes that needed to be made they just didnt have the tools to make them for themselves as John would say.I had the privledge of being Johns bartender for 11 years and i cannot recall a time when John compliment me on something i was wearing or my hair and he would make my day! and he would always say "THANK YOU MY DEAR" no matter how many times i served him. that made me feel appreciated. I have to say John touched the lives of the many of us who knew him. and he is going to be missed especialy his stories. So heres to you John a man with a "LIFE WELL LIVED" leaving us with great memories "IS WORTH REMEMBERING" "THANKYOU MY DEAR"

John was a good friend and always made you laugh. We loved his card tricks. Working with him in local 454 was a pleasure. He will be missed.

John was just a great guy; plain and simple. He was there for me when I first came out into the field of Piledriving. He was willing to share his experience with any young man who would take the time to listen. He'd always say: "I don't want to tell you what to do, but, if I was you I'd do it this way."
John was also always willing to give you anything you needed. I worked with him one time on a job where I showed up wearing the same tattered jeans two days in a row. The next day he handed me a brand new pair of jeans I was still a 32 back then and told me to take them, because he had bought them for himself and they didn't fit. That's the kind of guy John Manning was, and he will always be in my memory!
Thanks for being a mentor!
Thanks for being a friend!

I have so many great memories of John. We had spent many wonderful times together. He was a great friend to all that met him. He will be missed alot by all those who knew him. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to know him. He was so proud of his pets and his house. He always had a kind word about people.
