To the Verno Family,
Mary was one of the Lord?s sweetest treasures. She captured the heart of every person that she met through her soft voice but powerful words, and her intriguing visual expressiveness. From our first meeting in 1977, I knew that my life would be touched forever by her friendship. Her love and devotion to Jesus Christ was uniquely portrayed each day as she read and reflected on the Word of God and lived its principles. As I recall the special times that Mary and I shared, it always makes me smile and warms my soul. May the Lord tenderly comfort you during this time and fill you with His peace that passes all understanding.
