As a child many of my favorite memories happend in the household of Uncle Leos'. Christmas, pool parties,BBQS and many many sleepovers, He was an important father figure in my life when my own father wasnt there. He was direct and honest with me when alot of people tried to sugar coat things that I didnt understand, He was an honest man that I looked up to. There are so many memories that arise when you look back at your life with someone and I would like to say "Thank you Uncle Leo,thank you for the memories, thank you for the honesty, thank you for your kindness, thank you for being you. I havent spoke to my family in a long time, thank you for bringing me home, because of you I will make a real effort to connect with everyone again,I wish it were you i was calling to reconnect with, but we will have our chance soon. I love you uncle Leo.
Your Nephew

I have learned alot since my fathers passing, as it made me learn alot more about life and faith, I may have been inmature but have learned to grow, by Dear Uncle Leo's passing and having learned to truly have faith I feel like a true person again. After the services, I came home and a dear friend of my sons came over with cake and a beautiful card. The card is something very beautiful and I would like to share it with you.
Losing someone we love is never easy to accept, and sometimes it must seem as if the pain is almost too much to bear. But I believe that your love will outlast the pain of the grief you're feeling... I believe that you have a place deep in your heart where treasured memories will always live. And one day those memories will be a tremendous comfort to you.Until the day when you can smile again, I hope it helps to know how sorry I am and how much I care.
By Catherine Slater...
I hope this helps to comfort you as much as is does me....
I love you Aunt Theres and Tracie and family....
With all my love

As a child I would get so excited when you and Aunt Theresa came to our house for christmas and after opening our gifts I would put the bows on you, and yesterday we said goodbye for now. I know our heavenly father greeted you with open arms and happy to have you home with him. You will be forever missed. Send my love to my Father tell him how much we miss him and love. Rest in Peace Uncle Leo, I love you. Denise

We said goodbye today Leo. It was a beautiful, respectful sendoff. I think you would have approved of everything Theresa and Tracie arranged for you. We all love you and miss you so much. Our consolation is that you were welcomed into God's arms with the applause of your parents and ours along with so many others who went home before you did. You will never be forgotten. You are more than my brother in law, you are my brother. Rest in peace, and I Love You..

I can't express in words how very, very sad I feel. Ten months ago I felt as if our world had crashed and that nothing could hurt as bad, well, I was wrong. Again we crash and burn due to the loss of another of our loved ones. Leo was such an important part of our Family, he brought so much into our lives and added to so many good memories. Pool parties,Christmas Eve's,Tax refund checks!
Leo was blessed with only one sister, Joan, and inherited 4 new "Irish Sisters" when he married Theresa, I hope we weren't too hard to handle.
I remember the Saturday Night sing alongs at Aunt Flossie's and Uncle Leo's house and you singing Frank Sinatra songs, that is my earliest memories of you, I think I was 11. Who knew then that you would become my brother.
We love you Leo, and will miss you deeply until we meet again.

Dearest Theresa and Tracie, words cannot begin to express the sorrow I feel in my heart on Leo's passing. I loved him and have the fondest memories of the years when we hung out at Walt's and Sharon's house. He drove our crowd all over because he was the only one who had a license and a car. He was a fun loving person and a great "limbo" dancer. He always beat all of us and made it under the pole when it was really low. The last four years we got closer again when he became my accountant and financial advisor. I'll never forget how he came right over when I called him and asked him to do my taxes because I was ill and couldn't concentrate. He offered all the help I needed and Tracie, I'll never forget what you did for me when I was down. Aa they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Theresa and Tracie, I love you both and want you to know that I'll be here for you both whenever you need me. Leo, rest in peace until we meet again. Love, Carol
