A tribute to a wonderful mother-in-law who raised two thoughtful, caring, hard-working, and loving sons-two good men. Thank you, Mom Ward, for raising your sons in the loving, close knit family you and Dad provided, which made them the type of husbands they are-so committed to their own families. Your dear grandchildren are a further reflection of the Ward Family dedication. I have been truly blessed to be a part of your family.
We miss the daily phone calls, and I miss my occasional weekend visits, when we would talk non-stop for an hour or two!
Mom Ward, you are never far from our thoughts, and I hope you are happy!

Helen A. Ward was a kind, caring and determined woman. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, and cousin. She spent her life entirely devoted to her family. She asked little and gave much.
Mom married Dad the true love of her life at a young age. After she married, she was quite content staying home creating a loving and comfortable home for her family. She loved her boys; Bill, Bud, and Greg and always felt they could do no wrong.
When Dad died, she courageously carried on as matriarch of our family. Her sons Bud and Greg are a tribute to her goodness and strength. They both called her each day and saw to her every need. Helen and Bill raised two great sons and what a tribute you both are to your Mom and Dad's lasting memory.
In the hospital, Mom said, "Dad is coming to take me home." So Mom, take the hand of the love of your life and let him guide you home. Know that you will be dearly missed and thought of with love forever.
We love you Mom!!!

Buddy and Greg and Family.....My memories of Aunt Helen are of her quiet manner and caring spirit she had for everyone.
As a child visiting Aunt Helen and Uncle Bud were a quiet time spent looking at pictures and drinking Peps and pretzels. Sittng on the back porch with all of you and Dutch will be a memory I will always remember.
My last conversation with Aunt Helen was listening to her prasing her boys and extra Special Grand and Great Grandchildren. You all were the world to her.
Many times we never remember to say "I Love You" till it's too late.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Grandmom,
My most vivid memory as a young child is you and Pop walking across the soccer field to watch me play soccer. Now when I close my eyes, I can see you and Pop Ward taking Mi-Mi for a long walk together in heaven. This thought helps me to remember that you are at peace now. Knowing that there is one more angel in heaven looking down over our family makes me smile. I will be eternally grateful for the time and care you took in raising such incredible sons. Your loving qualties were instilled in my Dad and therefore have been instilled in me. I love you Grandmom and will miss you dearly.
Love, Jean Marie
