My Grandmother was the most amazing person ever. As a child, she was my favorite person in the world. She was, & always will be, my hero. Because I was a child of a single working Mother, most of my time was spent at Grandmom's house. I cherished every moment. I had 2 ?Mom?s?. Mommy, my Mother, & ?Mom?, my Grandmother. She didn?t take her roll as Grandmother lightly. She was always a fully involved Grandparent. Arts & crafts were common @ her house. She liked to cook and always let me help. She made the best spaghetti ever! She was always good for a bedtime story, be it The Princess & The Pea, Hansel & Gretel or my favorite, Rumpelstiltzkin. After losing my Grandfather at age 10, nothing scared me more than the thought of losing my Grandmother. Now, at age 44, I realize how fortunate I am to have had her for so many years. I will never know anyone smarter, kinder or funnier than my Grandmother. She was truly 1 in a million. Good night sweet Grandma-ma. You?ll be forever missed. Dondi.
