pop pop jim,
i loved you very much and will never forget the things you did with me and taught me while i was just a little boy. pop pop used to take me to the phillies games every summer i was there. he also drug me through the streets of philly teaching me every peice of history that lies in that city. pop pop was always game to do whatever i wanted to and never told me NO. he always made sure there was butterscotch krimpets in the house anytime i came over because he knew they were my favorite. i will miss him dearly and will make sure that his great grandson Gage Damon McCrystal 9 months old will know how great of a man he was while he was here.
I love you pop pop and i will never forget the smile on your face!
Love Damon, Courtney and Gagerbug!!!

The thing I remember most about Mr. McCrystal is when he used to walk his dog 3 times a day, then sit in his back yard with his furry buddy by his side. His dogs were his best buddies. There is not a more quiet, gentle man than Mr. McCrystal. May he rest in peace.

We have been neighbors with Jim for over 30 years. He was a gentle, kind, quiet, pleasant presence on our tiny street. He will be sorely missed. God bless Jim.
