I was saddened to hear the news about Uncle Ed. My memories of him are from when I was a child, mostly visiting with him in South Philly and at New Years Eve parties at my grandmother?s house. However, I was able to see him fairly recently at the Azzarano family reunion. I will keep him and his family in my prayers. With his strong religious beliefs, I know that he will have everlasting happiness in heaven.

We met Ed only a few times through Kelly and Maria and her family, but he always expressed a quiet, gentle, kind spirit that we know will be surely missed by his family. But his presence in their lives and--however brief-- in our own was a true blessing. He was a good man. God bless and rest in peace Ed.

I didn't know Pop very long, but it didn't take very long to figure out what a special person he was. He loved his family and accepted me into it with open arms. I am a better person for having known him.

I still expect to find my grandfather sitting on the couch when I walk into his home. I don't think my mind has fully come to understand that he has passed. While I may not be able to see him pick up his head from reading the paper or taking a nap and smile at me, I have a lifetime of wonderful memories of my grandfather. He was a wonderful man and an excellent role model for our family. He never complained through all of his years of medical procedures. He took every step in stride and kept a positive outlook. I can only hope he will help me now from his place in heaven to live my life with such a positive outlook. I will miss him for the rest of my life. I love him greatly!

It's never easy to say goodbye to anyone you love, but some people just seem to make it harder for you. My Pop was one of those people. Whether it was his ability to make you laugh no matter what the situation, or his undying love that he never let u forget, there was something about him you couldn't help but admire. I can only hope that all the love and happiness that he enstilled in people will continue to live on in me. I loved him with all my heart and I now have an angel beside me for the rest of my life. I love you Pop forever!

My dear father-in-law Ed, I have known you for what seems to be my entire life. I consider that to be a special gift from above. You are one of the most loving and caring men God has ever put on this earth. I, as well as everyone else who had the opportunity to meet you, will never forget you. You will live in our hearts for the rest of time until we meet again in heaven. Love, Gary

I don't know where to begin to tell the wonderful memories that I have shared with my father. He was a special, beautiful man. His love inspired everyone in the family. We were truly blessed. I miss him very much.
My dad was a part of my life everyday for the past seven years and I can't imagine not being able to see him. His was my father, my confidante, and my companion. I saw how my father suffered and I know he is in peace. I love you dad.

I have been fortunate to have my pop with me for 25 years. He was not only a wonderful and loving grandfather, but a unique and special person overall. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him knows this about him. I miss him so much already, but know he is beside me each day. He is my angel and forever will be. I will never forget the happiness in his laugh and smile and his willingness to listen and pass along kind words. I was able to share so many happy moments with him and have so many magnificent memories of my pop. He lives on with each member of his family who will never let his spirit die.
You are my partner pop and we will all be happy together when we think of you. Thank you for being the person you were and helping me to become the person I am. I love you with all my heart!

I was blessed to have my pop in my life for 26 years. He was the best grandfather you could ever ask for. I will miss his smile, his voice, his bright eyes, his jokes, his laugh and everything else about him. Although I will miss him forever, I am happy that he is finally at peace and I now have another angel to guide me.
Pop, I love you with all my heart, you are my hero. I will wait for the day when "we will be happy together again."

My dad always had time to talk with me even to the early hours of the morning. His love and guidance throughout my life will now help to carry me through this difficult time.
My heart is heavy from the loss of my wonderful father, but I take solace in the fact that he is in a better place without pain and suffering.

I was sadden to read that Ed had passed away. I worked with him and Tommy for many years at American Bag. In fact I still work for them although no longer at the Philly location. Ed was a great guy and I know he will be missed by many people.
I sent a copy of his obituary to Peter Schottland who is now the owner and CEO of what is now American Packaging Corp. There are few people besides myself left at the company who knew Eddie but Peter remembered him when he worked as a teenager for the summer at the Philly plant.
If someone in the family could I would like have Tommy's address so I could contact him.
