Obituary of Josephine P. Planeta

PLANETA?Josephine P. nee Stankiewicz of Mullica Hill on June 4, 2007. Aged 68 years. Josephine was a woman who loved spending time outdoors; however, spending time with her family, especially her children & grandchildren, were certainly paramount in her life. Born and raised in Camden, Josie was a graduate of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Business School. Frank, a neighborhood boy, caught her eye, fell in love and married in 1960. They settled in Westville Grove for several years before moving and making a home in Mullica Hill in 1982. Her family has fond memories of summer vacations spent in Wharton State Forest at Atison Lake; where they enjoyed fishing, swimming and just being together as a family. Josie possessed a great love for animals; she got great joy from her cat Spatz and sadly missed Snow and Gizmo who had passed away. She enjoyed watching old ?tear jerker? movies, trying her luck at the casinos and enjoyed an occasional trip to see a Broadway show. She is the beloved wife of 47 years to Francis J.; devoted mother of Frank M. & his fiancée, Terri Johnson and Allen J. & his wife Susan; loving grandmother of Rachel, Brian, Sarah and Craig. Viewing Fri. 9-10:30 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral Mass Fri 11:30 AM in St. Joseph RC Church, Swedesboro. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
