Dear Uncle Maurice,
Thank you for being the one to introduce me to the world of photography. It was you who bought me my first camera when we visited the US in 1975, and I don?t think I?ve looked at the world the same way since. For Julia?s entire life I have photographed and video taped all her milestones. I have often been seen with a still camera in one hand and video camera in the other. One of our favorite things to do on rainy days is to watch her ?baby videos.? My memories fade as I get older, but those moments on film will be shared and treasured her entire lifetime. Without your influence, we would never have had those cherished memories and I greatly appreciate you for that. Your joke for every occasion will be greatly missed and you will always be in our hearts...
Much love, Micky

I didn't get to spend much time with uncle Maurie, what time we had I enjoyed. He had a wonderful sense of humor which will be missed by all.

"Every man dies! Not every man really lives!" Uncle Maurice really lived!
Maurice loved his family, he loved travelling, he loved being a Greenan, he loved Celtic, and he loved life, but most of all, he loved Jessie.
Uncle Maurice, You'll Never Walk Alone!

Maurice-although i only knew you for a short while, you made me feel like i had known you for a life-time. I still have fond memories of me, you and Gary having breakfast at the diner and sitting out in the lean-to, talking and telling jokes until the sun went down. Maurice-you were a true gent and will be sadly missed.

Scotty was and still is one of my favorite friends. We shared working together at USAir at that time and enjoyed a number of New Years Celebrations together. God bless you Jessie, and comfort you, knowing he is in our hearts. I'm glad I know him!

Knew Maurie when I worked with BA at Philadelphia Airport and as we were both from Bonnie Scotland we struck up a friendship. Sadly we hadn't gotten together but I will always have fond memories of him and his kindness. He sent me many tapes of Scottish music which I still enjoy. He was a lovely person.
Condolences to his wife Jessie and of course, to all his family.
